| | I read about the Fast Running Blog in Runners World, so I wanted to give it a try. Then I realized my master, Jeff, is already on it. He's always ahead of me on things like that. I'm just grateful he took me for a nice run today.
| |
| | Another morning run. 7 miles. That's 49 in doggie miles.
|
| | Master Jeff says we ran around 6 miles today. I don't really know what a mile is but I trust him.
Am I the only animal on the FRB? It would be nice to have some other dogs to bark at and sniff rears. Or cats to chase.
| |
| | I love running. However, I would be ok if master Jeff let me sleep in till at least the sun was up instead of the middle of the night. Good thing I can nap all day, especially since master Jeff's two little pups are gone during the day. In fact, boredom from their leaving is why I took up blogging in the first place. Ran 5 miles with master Jeff today.
|
| | I don't wear shoes so can't use the shoe tracker feature on FRB. Maybe master Jeff will get me some dog booties for my paws during very cold, icy winter runs. Then I can list those. The trails around our den can be very cold during the dark months. Fortunately, master Jeff didn't take me on the run today until it was light outside. Maybe he read my typing from yesterday about wanting to sleep in.
|
| | I just found the Discussion Forum. This thing is great. It may take me 3 dog years to read all of it. Dogs are even mentioned. How come humans don't post to it anymore? I'm always behind the technological cutting edge. At least this will keep me busy while master Jeff is in Oregon running a relay. I don't know what a relay is but it sounds fun. Lots of people for me to chase.
| |
| | I sometimes run with Justin, master Jeff's pup. But master Jeff was on a trip running a relay race this weekend. What is a relay, anyways?
|
| | Master Jeff was back today. He seemed very happy with his race. I was glad he was back to take me for a run. I also saw he put me on his favorite blogs list.
| |
| | Master Jeff woke me up for the run before the sun was up. We finished while still dark. But it is worth it to run everyday. Master Jeff has a job he leaves for right after the run. I'm glad dogs don't have a job. My work is to sit around the house and be friendly.
| |
| | Ran with master Jeff again this morning. I wonder why humans don't make their territory like dogs do. Maybe because they already dominate all of it.
| |
| | Early morning run with master Jeff. I wonder if he realizes that both his pups will soon be faster than him. I hear both pups run races, too. Maybe the pups will bring me to one of their races to watch, I would love to see them run. I won't even nip at the runners. Or bark. Too much.
| |
| | Master Jeff finally let me sleep in like I've been hoping. It was so nice to run when the sun was actually up. The whole pack stayed home today. I think master Jeff, master Katelyn, and master Justin all went running during the day without me, but they tried to be secretive and not tell me. I could smell the run stink on them afterwards, though.
|
| | Master Jeff didn't take me running. I think he is getting sick. Dogs can smell some sicknesses, you know.
|
| | Ran with master Jeff today. It may have been early, but at least it was pretty slow. Sometimes it's hard to get my paws moving early.
|
| | Another early morning run.
|
| | No run this morning. I hear some of the master pups have a race this afternoon. I love races. They are so excited when they come home from them.
